Kristina Boerder

She/Her
CERI Lead Scientist (FOME)

Kristina is the Lead Scientist for CERI at Dalhousie University and works on conducting and coordinating research around eelgrass, associated biodiversity, and coming up with new experiments. When her head is not stuck in an eelgrass meadow, her further research interests include human pressures on the ocean, such as fishing and coastal construction, as well as the impacts of climate change on marine conservation measures (like the design of marine protected areas and integrated maritime management). Kristina loves to snorkel, dive and sail, and is a big fan of cats and squirrels.
