Field Tech and Diver
Aaron Ulrick completed his BSc in Marine Biology in 2025, utilizing BRUV’s (Baited Remote Underwater Video Systems) to study fish and invertebrate communities in kelp beds around Nova Scotia’s Eastern Shore Islands. He also conducted SCUBA surveys in these kelp beds to see if the presence of divers changes the types of animals observed in these habitats. With CERI, Aaron will be applying these skills to help assess the health of our eelgrass beds and support replanting efforts. In his free time, Aaron loves being near water – whether diving, canoeing, or throwing sticks for his dog to chase.
